Glenn Gordon, MSPT, NS
Glenn Gordon graduated from Temple University in1987 with a BS in Exercise Science /Cardiac Rehabilitation. He earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University in 1989. His 31 years of work experience includes 6+ years in an outpatient physical therapy clinic with a focus on neurologic, orthopedic, and sports rehabilitation. For the past 25+ years, he has been working in-home care. Additional certifications include Falls Prevention Specialist and a Nutrition Specialist.
Present-day, he is co-owner of TRY Therapy Restoring You. He works with patients that have various medical conditions including but not limited to neurologic, orthopedic, cardiovascular, pulmonary, balance disorders, and metabolic disorders. His vast experience with in-home care allows him to assess for home safety issues and recommend home modifications for falls prevention. In addition, he counsels individuals in nutrition to maximize health and improve athletic performance. His combination of degrees in Exercise Science and Physical Therapy plus a certification in nutrition provides the knowledge to address individuals' needs at multiple levels and develop a complete program to maximize results.
Sherri Benson-Gordon, OTR/L
Sherri Benson-Gordon graduated from Temple University in 1990 with a BS in Occupational Therapy. Over the past 30 years, she worked in various settings such as rehabilitation hospitals, nursing facilities, outpatient therapy, and home care. She was a Rehabilitation Manager at a retirement community for 10 years. Currently, she is a co-owner of TRY Therapy Restoring You, an in-home therapy Medicare B provider. She has clients with various medical conditions including but not limited to neurologic, cardiovascular, orthopedic, and cognitive deficits. She is certified in the LSVT Big program and Skills2Care (a program for caregivers of patients/loved ones with dementia). She also has specialties in addressing low vision and urinary incontinence. She has been a home care provider for the past 15 years and has established expertise with home safety assessments providing recommendations for fall prevention, durable medical equipment, energy conservation, and generalized environmental safety. As an Occupational Therapist, her primary goal is to help people perform their everyday activities at the most independent level while maintaining good safety and maximizing their tolerance to engage in daily activities.
